Heavy duty Velcro is used to attach the mast to the trailer. That&#8217;s so I can accommodate changing my mind without having to tear too much apart.<\/p>\n<p>Once happy with it all they&#8217;ll be replaced with lock-type nuts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThe antenna setup didn&#8217;t survive our summer trip. The velcro didn&#8217;t quite do the job I had hoped as it didn&#8217;t stay locked. It got bad and worse in a desolate part of Nevada. No hardware store to be found to facilitate some emergency adjustments. Ultimately the bracket broke and I had to dismantle it for the trip home.
